The Information Search Process: Experience doing research or seeking information.

       For what I have experienced when doing an investigation either for a school task or for something of my personal interest, now thanks to the model of the Information Search Process (ISP), I was able to find and verify that this is what happens to me when I'm doing research. For me before starting an investigation it is important to keep in mind what the instructor is requesting, this is to fulfill expectations according to the subject. We must consider the time that will be available for research and how effective is the subject to investigate, example, how much information can be obtained, since some issues can be very prominent, but information is not provided so easily in the media nor easily accessed. It is also necessary to be interested in such topic in order to succeed because self-interest is always the most important. If there is no interest there will be no such effort and it will not emphasize research, learning and satisfaction. Once the search for information has begun, good use of time and resources available must be done that is to have access to good sources of credible information, since there is a lot of false information in the network that can complicate the investigation. Of the times that I have done research I have always had the help of a tutor who gives me support and guides me to continue the research when I find myself stuck, and struggling comprehending something related to the topic, this would be like the lesson mentions "in the dip" and principle of uncertainty, there my frustrations and insecurities are minimized and even could completely disappear with a second voice to listen to and receiving help (zone of intervention). In the fifth stage is how the lesson explains it because at this point there is more development, more knowledge and interest that makes me want to search more about my topic and even relate it to my own experiences depending on the subject. Finally, the last stage is when I do a final review and decide what else would be necessary to terminate the investigation, because it is here when I come back for intervention, asking for help from a second person. In my case a tutor or the instructor himself if this is available for this to happen, I make the necessary changes, and this is when the satisfaction and the feeling of joy comes because the research is completed and for all the things that had been learned. As I mentioned before, this article is very well-developed because it is exactly what happens to conduct research. I had never thought this as described here and to be honest it never went through my mind about the stages to realize an investigation. I believe that unconsciously I had performed these stages in the past, but I did not know them. So, if I had to change something it would be to take these stages in deeper way and in order.
